Certified GreenCard ESG Manage
The ESG Manager Course is open all year round with cohorts scheduled to take place in February, May, August, and November respectively.
Registration for the May 2026 International Cohort is currently ongoing with the start date fixed for Saturday, 23rd May 2026 with an LMS Onboarding and Information Session. This session will guide participants on how to access course materials, live sessions, and assessments.
The live virtual sessions will run as follows (all times are GMT+1):

Module 4: ESG in Finance and Investment
Each module runs for an average of 3 – 4 hours per day.
Each cohort is an International Edition and will be delivered fully virtually, allowing participants from different countries and time zones to attend.
Yes. After each session, course materials and resources will be made available to participants via the LMS for personal study and revision.
Participants will gain immediate access to the professional examination after the final module/ live session. You may:
- Take the exam immediately after the course, or
- Take advantage of the two-week examination window to study and attempt the exam at your convenience.
- Total Questions: 30
- Format: Multiple-choice questions
- Time Allowed: 30 minutes
- Passing Grade: 70%
Each participant is entitled to three attempts (one initial attempt plus two retakes).
If a participant wishes to retake the exam after the third attempt, an additional $10 fee is required.
Each subsequent retry after this also attracts a $10 fee.
Upon achieving a minimum score of 70%, the following will be immediately dispatched to the participant:
- Certificate of Completion
- Licensed ESG Manager Credential
- Professional Certificate Badge
CGEM stands for Certified GreenCard ESG Manager.
It signifies that the holder has completed the required training, passed the professional assessment, and met the standards required to practice as an ESG professional.
There are no formal prerequisites. However, a basic interest or background in sustainability, ESG, finance, audit, compliance, or related fields is beneficial.
The course is suitable for:

This is an important distinction to understand.
What is renewable annually is the professional license, not the Certificate of Completion.
After successfully completing the course, each participant receives three separate credentials:
1️⃣ Certificate of Completion
- Issued upon course completion
- Carries 35 CPD Points
- Does not expire
2️⃣ Accredited License to Practice (CGEM)
- Valid for 1 year
- Renewable annually at $50 per year
3️⃣ Professional Certificate Badge
- Valid for 1 year
- Renewed annually at no additional cost when the license is renewed
🔔 Important Note:
Renewal of the License and Professional Badge does not require re-writing the professional examination. Renewal is a simple annual process to keep your professional status active and current.
Failure to renew your license for 3 consecutive years automatically means that when the next renewal is to be made, you will have to pay and write the professional examination again prior to issuance. Renewal will not be automatically applied for anyone who has not renewed for more than 3 consecutive years.
$50 penalty fee required to extend your course time on the LMS for one month.
